Yahoo Small Business Web Hosting Is Now Turbify: 2026 Prices and Renewals

Published Oct 26, 2026

Yahoo Small Business web hosting still exists, but under another name: it is now Turbify, run by Infinite Computer Solutions, which bought the former Yahoo Small Business portfolio from Verizon. As of 18 Oct 2026 Turbify sells three shared hosting plans from $0.99 a month for the first year, but each price is valid for one term only, and the struck-through regular prices run from $7.99 to $17.99 a month.

For a business already on the old Yahoo account, the questions are practical: what the plans cost after year one, what the cancellation rules are, and whether staying makes sense. This page answers them from Turbify's own hosting page and terms of service, both read on 18 Oct 2026, and compares the bill with two mainstream small-business hosts.

Turbify hosting plans and prices

Turbify's hosting page shows three plans on annual billing. All include a free domain, SSL, business mailboxes, a cPanel dashboard, a 99.99% uptime guarantee and 24/7 support, and Turbify says they run on Microsoft Azure infrastructure. The odd part is the order: the mid-range Professional plan has the lowest first-year price and the highest regular price.

Professional$0.99/mo$17.99/moUnlimited / unlimited100 / 25
Advanced$3.99/mo$12.99/mo500 GB / 500 GB50 / 10

Each plan card adds the same footnote: 'Price shown based on 1 yr plan. Valid for 1 term only.' Turbify does not print a separate renewal figure. Its terms say a plan renews automatically for the same length of time 'at the then current renewal rate'. The only regular price Turbify shows is the struck-through one, so that is the figure we use as the likely renewal below; confirm it in your account before the renewal date.

What Turbify costs after the first year

Using the struck-through price as the renewal rate, the gap between year one and year two is large on every plan, and it is largest on the plan Turbify promotes most.

Grouped bars of yearly cost: Essentials $35.88 in year one and $95.88 at the regular price; Professional $11.88 then $215.88; Advanced $47.88 then $155.88. Over three years that is $227.64, $443.64 and $359.64.
Year one on annual billing against twelve months at the struck-through regular price, Turbify hosting page, read 18 Oct 2026. Treating the regular price as the renewal rate is our assumption; Turbify's terms say 'then current renewal rate'.

Over three years, Essentials comes to $227.64, Advanced to $359.64 and Professional to $443.64. The plan that costs $11.88 in year one becomes the most expensive by the end of year three, because its regular rate is more than eighteen times its intro rate. For a simple company site plus a few staff mailboxes, Essentials is the cheaper long-term choice despite the higher sticker.

Turbify's resource ladder is also uneven. Professional has unlimited storage and bandwidth, 100 mailboxes and 25 databases, while Advanced, priced in between, has 500 GB, 50 mailboxes and 10 databases. Pick on the features and the regular price, not on the plan names.

What each plan includes beyond storage

Security and WordPress tooling are where the plans differ most for a business. Professional lists malware protection with scan and repair, Advanced lists malware scanning only, and the Essentials card lists neither, though all three include DDoS protection, an AI-assisted firewall, free SSL and backup and restore tools. The WordPress Toolkit appears on Professional and Advanced but not on Essentials.

All three let you add team members, connect over secure FTP (FTPS) and manage the site from a cPanel dashboard, and all include Turbify's AI website builder. The builder is a quick way to get online, but Turbify's plan cards do not say whether a builder site can be exported, so ask before relying on it. A WordPress site on the same plan can be moved to another host with standard migration tools, which matters if you ever want to leave.

The cancellation rules to put in your calendar

The terms of service are stricter than most shared hosts. Annual and multi-year plans must be cancelled at least 32 days before the end of the term; plans billed for shorter periods need 24 hours. The terms also say that to avoid being charged the full rate you must cancel before any discount or promotional period ends, that an early termination fee may apply, and that, except where stated otherwise, payments are not refunded. The terms do include a 30-day satisfaction guarantee, but it covers new hosting orders and certain upgrades, refunds the hosting fee and not the domain registration charge, and is not described for renewals, so do not count on it then.

Timeline of a 12-month Turbify term: the 30-day satisfaction guarantee at the start, the plan running at the intro price, and a cancellation deadline 32 days before the term ends (the last 32 days are too late to stop renewal), after which the plan auto-renews at the then-current renewal rate.

Two more clauses matter to a business. When a service is cancelled or terminated, Turbify reserves the right to delete everything in the account, including files, email and order information, so take a full backup before you cancel. And if your business mail is tied to a Yahoo ID, the terms say Turbify may end the agreement if Yahoo terminates that ID, so keep that login secure and current.

Stay on Turbify, or move?

Stay if your site and mail work, you are on a plan you understand, and the renewal you see in your account is acceptable. Moving a business site and its mailboxes takes planning, and Turbify's bundle of domain, hosting and email in one bill is convenient.

Consider moving if your renewal is near a regular rate of $12.99 to $17.99 a month for a simple site. For comparison, on 18 Oct 2026 Bluehost showed its Business plan at $6.99 a month for a three-year term with a $13.99 renewal, and SiteGround showed StartUp at $2.99 a month for a 12-month prepay with a $17.99 renewal. Neither is dramatically cheaper at renewal, which is the point: Turbify's regular prices are in the normal range for shared hosting, but its Professional intro price is not.

If you do move, our small-business hosting ranking compares plans on uptime terms and support, and Bluehost's Business plan is one option with a three-year intro term that delays the first renewal. Move email separately and first; our guide to professional email options explains how, and what a small business should spend on hosting gives a budget yardstick.

Edge cases

  • Domains bought through Turbify are registered through Tucows' OpenSRS, according to its terms; transferring the domain away is a separate step from cancelling hosting.
  • If your domain is registered elsewhere, its renewal fees stay with your original registrar even while Turbify hosts the site.
  • Monthly billing exists on the hosting page toggle, but its prices are not shown on the plan cards we read, so check them at checkout.
  • All prices are before tax.
